I am not a professional events photographer...I don't hire myself out for weddings or those type of things. I prefer the outdoors, wildlife and landscapes.
I also love street photography. It is generally outdoors and subject to the weather and elements within an environment: ie city, country setting or a busy beach. I am not beholden to anyone's pleasure or approval. There are no rules but what you put on yourself. I can choose many different options in ISO, aperture and speed. I can shoot what I want, when I want,
and whatever I want.
Street photography is urban, gritty, fast and spontaneous. Its thoughtful, it's utilizing your immediate surroundings, it's a cup of coffee on a corner and it's fun! Every photographer is free to see and interpret their own brand of street photography.
I am not an "in your face" type. I like to see at a distance, from behind or from the side. If I have to ask for your picture I feel pressure to "get it right"
and street photography isn't about getting it right.
Along the way there are sunsets, sunrises, buildings, boats, and so much more.
